Residents in Kichinjaji east cell in Soroti Municipality woke up to a shock of the day when they found a dead man dumped along the road in the area.
The deceased was a resident of the area (near Ramazan well) and the colleague he has been sharing a rented room with is in hiding.
News has come up that his ancestral home is somewhere in Serere.
The OC station- Kichinjaji is trying to locate the family of the deceased as investigation is ongoing.
Locals say the deceased has been a sworn drunkard.
They say the has previously missed death due to excessive alcohol drinking about three times.
What disturbs the residents is why the deceased’s colleague drugged the body out of the house and dumped along the road.
The body has been taken to Soroti Referal Hospital motuary as a postmortem as relatives of the deceased are yet to show up.
