Two survive death after a nasty accident in Bukedea

Two people have this afternoon [Wednesday 2nd September, 2020] survived death after getting involved in a head-on accident in Bukedea town.

Rescuers struggled to cut the door of a taxi with Reg No: UBE 940W, which had a collision with a trailer Reg No: SSD 187Q.

Onlookers told AICA that the accident was caused by the sudden stop of the cargo lorry after it made a sudden stop infront of the taxi which was heading from Mbale to Soroti.

Those who got severe injuries were the driver of the taxi and one lady who carried a baby with her and no fatalities were recorded.

The names and identities were not yet identified at the time of filing this report.
