The LCV Chairperson for Bukedea district, has quit his party [National Resistance Movement] after losing an election to his competitor.

In the concluded NRM party primary elections for LCV flag bearer, Mr Tukei William garnered a total of 49,300 against Moses Olemukan [the Chairman] who scored 33,271votes as James Michael Ongole scored only 1,189 votes.

Olemukan upon realizing a difference of 16,029 between him and the winner, cried that the NRM party has failed to master the maturity of the party guidelines and it is at stake of losing value.

“I am open to inform the public that I am not contented with these results. This defeat is not genuine and I inform everyone that I have quit the NRM party and I am coming back to contest on an independent ticket,” said Olemukan.

Olemukan cries that the party Registrar did not announce results from all polling stations across Bukedea but only pronounced a general vote.

However, on an interview with Aica, Joseph Prone, the Bukedea NRM Party Registrar said that results declared were from all the polling stations in Bukedea and were genuine.
